LBK Foodies

The purpose to celebrate the food community and the amazing dishes being cooked at home as well as provide a way for local restaurants to advertise and garner community support as they reopened after months of being closed.

Shortly after LBK Foodies being established a well-known personality in Lubbock, Jerrod Harper, fell victim to a battle no one knew he was fighting.

In 2021, HarperFest was founded in Jerrod's memory an organization founded to provide mental health services to Lubbock's service industry.

HarperFest is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit that provides funds for members of the service industry to access professional help for mental health needs in the form of counseling and also a PCP visit for medication, if needed. This help is not limited to only bartenders, waitstaff, and BOH folks, it is all service industry folks without health insurance, be it hairstylists, nail techs, etc. The people who make life fun and worth living deserve this chance to be mentally well.

$5 from each item sold will be donated to HarperFest monthly.

The goal is to sell 6️⃣0️⃣ shirts per month.

👕 60 Shirts would provide 5️⃣ counseling appointments or one PCP visit with a counseling appointment.
